Welcome to Chowa Ryutsu
Ryu Working closely with the Kai
Shin Kai, the aim of our school is to further promote
the practice and development of AIKIDO.
The main aims of the school is to make Aikido accessible
to all, especially children and teenagers. We also aim
to continue the development of Aikido.
Introducing training methods and concepts that make
it a more practical method of self defence in a modern
society. To re-asses the credibility of Aikido within
the Martial Arts World, especially in the area of Reality
Based Self Defence.
Child Protection Policy
Chowa Ryutsu Ryu recognises it's moral and legal obligation
to fulfil a duty of care for persons under the age of
18. Sport and Aikido can provide a positive influence
to children and young people. We aim to provide a safe
environment for children and young people to pursue
sporting goals and achievements. As the Child Proctection
Officer for the KSK,
Chowa Ryutsu Ryu is developing and is implementing a
Child Protection Policy compatable with the British
Aikido Boards Child Protection Policy and is looking
to achieve the SportEngland
Clubmark award.

Forthcoming events
Two short courses to held on June 7th and June 21st.
The first course on the 7th June and the session is strictly limited to 8 people.
If there are sufficient numbers, a second session will be run. Click for details.
